About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families in Hartford, Blue Hills & East Hartford, Connecticut. This role offers a unique practice environment free from waiting rooms, double-booked appointments, and corporate production dashboards, allowing veterinarians to focus on providing compassionate end-of-life care. The practice is privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led, emphasizing a supportive atmosphere and a commitment to not using non-compete contracts, ensuring veterinarians have career freedom. This position is ideal for experienced doctors seeking a less demanding pace than general or emergency practice, those returning to medicine, or individuals looking to build a schedule around family commitments.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
- Weekend Availability (Rotational)
- Ability to Lift up to 45 lbs Unassisted
