About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families in Yardley, Buckingham, Newtown, Quakertown, Bristol, New Hope, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding metropolitan area. Care is delivered in pets’ homes, with a small number of appointments each day so veterinarians can listen, answer questions, and support families through end-of-life decisions without the pace of a traditional clinic. The role involves independent mobile practice, with onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, and access to experienced colleagues for support. Schedule options include two to five days per week, with self-managed scheduling available. Compensation is prorated according to schedule, with guaranteed compensation ranging from $60,000 to $140,000. Stated options include a five-day schedule at $135,000 annually and a four-day schedule at $110,000 annually, both with quarterly bonus opportunities. Weekend work is arranged by choosing four weekend days per month. The position does not require a non-compete agreement.
