Hospice RN - On Call - 7on/7off
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a Hospice RN for an on-call schedule described as 7 days on and 7 days off. The nurse coordinates care, continuously assesses the needs of patients and their families, and implements the interdisciplinary plan of care. Services must be provided in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The position requires a graduate of an approved school of nursing, a current license in the state of practice, at least one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse, and basic technology skills, including operating a mobile device. The nurse must also have a valid state driver license, automobile liability insurance as required by law, dependable transportation in good working condition, the ability to drive safely in all weather conditions, and healthcare-provider CPR certification. Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing education.
- Licensed in the state where currently practicing.
- At least one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse (RN).
- Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
- Valid state driver license.
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
- Ability to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- CPR certification for the healthcare provider.
