About The Position

Ennoble Care is seeking a full-time Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to serve terminally ill patients in and around Atlanta, Georgia. The role follows a 7-on / 7-off schedule and involves providing care and support that helps patients experience comfort, dignity, and peace of mind at the end of life. The nurse provides care in patients’ homes, responds to calls, and makes visits as needed to assess patients’ conditions. The role also includes administering medication, alleviating end-of-life symptoms, providing emotional support, and helping families cope with loss.

Requirements

• Valid RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Proven experience as a hospice nurse or registered nurse.
• Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines and side effects.
• Commitment to safety precautions and high ethical standards.
• Sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Compassion, patience, and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care.
• Triage phone calls.
• Visit patients as needed to evaluate their condition.
• Provide support and comfort according to each patient’s needs.
• Work with caregivers to plan and deliver excellent patient care.
• Help administer medication.
• Alleviate sudden symptoms of the end phase of a disease.
• Notify a doctor about a patient’s condition when necessary.
• Assist patients and their families with paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Help relatives cope with an upcoming loss and provide post-mortem support.
