About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking a compassionate, dynamic, energetic, organized, and efficient Hospice Nurse to provide on-call services in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties. The role follows a seven-days-on, seven-days-off schedule. The nurse triages patient calls, makes patient visits, performs tuck-ins, and completes admissions as needed. The position also involves field visits and office meetings, and adapting care to patients’ changing statuses and needs while on call.

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license in good standing.
• Empathetic approach to patients and caregivers.
• Ability to adapt to patient status and needs on an on-call basis.

Nice To Haves

• One year of hospice experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient calls.
• Make patient visits.
