About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking a compassionate, dynamic, energetic, organized, and efficient Hospice On-Call Nurse to serve patients in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne County, Michigan. The position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule. The nurse triages patient calls, makes patient visits, performs tuck-ins, and completes admissions as needed. The role also includes field visits and participation in office meetings as indicated, with the ability to adapt to patients’ changing status and needs while on call.

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license in good standing.
• Empathetic approach to patients and caregivers.
• Ability to adapt to patients’ status and needs on an on-call basis.

Nice To Haves

• Hospice experience; one year is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient calls.
