About The Position

At Moments Hospice, the Hospice Massage Therapist provides personalized massage therapy interventions to alleviate patients’ symptoms and promote relaxation, comfort, and well-being. Services are tailored to each patient’s individualized care plan and delivered under the direction of the Clinical Director. The role includes assessing patients, monitoring treatment effectiveness and responses, communicating changes to the clinical team, and maintaining timely and accurate records.

The position offers autonomy and variety in hospice care, collaboration with the clinical team, on-call support, structured training, and educational development opportunities. The role is on the road. A company vehicle option is available for business and personal use at a minimal cost, with fuel and insurance covered.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training.
• Hold current licenses or certifications as required by state law.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of the National Certification Exam (NCTMB) is preferred.
• One year of experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy services under the direction of the Clinical Director according to each patient’s individualized care plan.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Perform massage therapy to alleviate symptoms and promote relaxation and comfort.
• Observe and report patient responses and changes in condition to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records within 24–48 hours of sessions.
