About The Position

At Moments Hospice, the Massage Therapist provides personalized massage therapy interventions to alleviate patients’ symptoms and promote comfort according to each patient’s individualized care plan. The role works under the direction of the Clinical Director and collaborates directly with the clinical team in hospice care. The position offers autonomy, on-call support, structured training, and educational development programs. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training.
• Hold current licenses or certifications as required by state law.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of the National Certification Exam (NCTMB).
• One year of experience as a Massage Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy services under the direction of the Clinical Director and according to each patient’s individualized care plan.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Perform massage therapy to alleviate symptoms and promote relaxation and comfort.
• Observe and report patient responses and changes in condition to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records within 24–48 hours of sessions.
