About The Position

Varco Home Health and Hospice is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Hospice Marketing Liaison to expand the organization’s presence throughout Brownsville, Texas. This field-based, community- and referral-focused position builds referral relationships, identifies business opportunities, educates referral sources about hospice services, and supports referrals through admission. The liaison represents the organization professionally and compassionately and provides daily activity reports and updates to the Administrator.

Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare marketing, sales, or business development.
• Strong knowledge of hospice services, healthcare regulations, and compliance standards.
• Established referral relationships within Houston.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, eldercare facilities, and community partners.
• Conduct outbound calls and in-person visits to referral sources.
• Identify new business opportunities using market data and community insight.
• Provide presentations and in-services to educate referral sources about hospice services and outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth referral-to-admission processes.
• Represent Varco at community events and networking activities.
• Provide daily activity reports and updates to the Administrator.
• Follow up on referrals to remove barriers to care and support successful admissions.
