About The Position

NorthStar Home Hospice is seeking a passionate and driven Hospice Liaison and Community Marketing professional to join its team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role represents the organization and builds relationships that connect patients and families with hospice care. It involves educating healthcare professionals and community members, conducting outreach across the Cincinnati area, and developing territory-specific marketing strategies to support census growth and brand awareness. The liaison works with the clinical team to facilitate referrals and admissions and tracks marketing activity, referral trends, and territory growth.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a consultative sales approach.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in healthcare marketing, hospice, home health, or related medical sales.
• Knowledge of the hospice industry, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and referral processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare referral sources.
• Educate healthcare professionals and the community about hospice services, eligibility, and benefits.
• Conduct sales calls and outreach visits to referral partners across the Cincinnati area.
• Represent NorthStar Home Hospice at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support smooth patient referral and admission processes.
• Track and report marketing activity, referral trends, and territory growth metrics.
• Develop and execute territory-specific marketing strategies to grow census and brand awareness.
