About The Position

At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice, the Hospice Community Liaison builds relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other community partners to establish the organization as their hospice of choice through compassionate, high-quality care. The role involves working in the Modesto territory and is suited to a confident, personable self-starter who prefers an active, community-facing role rather than working behind a desk.

The Community Liaison develops and maintains referral and payer relationships, promotes Brighton/Suncrest’s reputation within the territory, and plans strategically to increase the organization’s market presence. The role also requires maintaining a strong understanding of the hospice market, referral sources, and competitors.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in healthcare sales, especially home care and/or hospice.
• Ability to market aggressively while maintaining positive industry relationships.
• Good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Willingness to drive, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

• Build and maintain a positive reputation for Brighton/Suncrest in the assigned territory.
• Strategically identify opportunities to increase the organization’s presence in the market.
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of the hospice market, referral sources, and competitors.
• Market hospice services while maintaining positive relationships within the industry.
