MAL- Lahey Hospice Full Time Contract
About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is partnering with a leading hospital system to place dedicated caregivers in hospice and home care assignments across the North Shore. This travel-based role provides stable, supported client assignments and an opportunity to provide meaningful care to hospice patients in their homes. The position is based in Middlesex, Massachusetts, and offers guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at $25.00 per hour. Caregivers provide hands-on personal care, companionship, and emotional support to patients, assist with household tasks and meal preparation, provide reminders for pre-set medications, and help with transportation. They also support families during end-of-life care and respond calmly and responsibly to urgent situations.
Requirements
- Valid HHA or CNA certification.
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Calm, compassionate, and dependable presence.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, changing linens, and tidying.
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs.
- Provide reminders for pre-set medications.
- Transport clients to appointments or errands.
- Support families during sensitive end-of-life care.
- Respond calmly and responsibly in urgent situations.
