BIL- Lahey Hospice Full Time Contract
About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for hospice and home care assignments throughout the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts. The role supports hospice patients in their homes in partnership with a leading hospital system, helping patients remain comfortable and supporting their families. The position is a 14-week contract, with potential to continue longer, and offers 40 guaranteed hours per week on a Monday–Friday schedule at $25 per hour. Assignments are made across Billerica, Lowell, Chelmsford, Tewksbury, Burlington, Woburn, and Wilmington. The work requires travel to client homes and is performed independently with support from an experienced home care team.
Requirements
- Valid HHA or CNA certification.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record.
- Availability to work 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday.
- Ability to travel to client homes throughout the Merrimack Valley area.
- Dependability, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship, comfort, and emotional support.
- Prepare meals according to clients’ dietary needs.
- Remind clients about medications that have already been prepared.
- Support patients and families with dignity during end-of-life care.
- Follow the care plan and promptly report changes or concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Travel to client homes throughout the Merrimack Valley area.
