About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caregivers throughout the Merrimack Valley area of Massachusetts. The role helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Both experienced caregivers and people beginning a caregiving career are encouraged to apply. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with daytime and overnight shifts, weekend shifts, and short- or long-hour assignments. Flexible scheduling is offered, and eligible candidates may be able to start as soon as next week.
Requirements
- Be compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have conversational English reading, writing, and speaking abilities.
- Have dependable transportation to reach client locations.
- Be willing to follow established health and safety guidelines.
- Have a caring attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Support clients with daily activities while respecting their dignity and independence.
