About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking dedicated Caregivers to provide one-on-one care for seniors and adults who want to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The caregiver provides individualized support that promotes each client's independence, dignity, and well-being, while following care plans and client preferences. The role involves working independently in clients' homes and building supportive relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Caring, dependable, and respectful.
- Patient with a positive attitude.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in caregiving or home care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients walk safely and assist with transfers and repositioning.
- Prepare nutritious meals and provide dining assistance when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional encouragement.
- Follow individualized care plans and client preferences.
