About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide one-on-one care for seniors and adults who want to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The caregiver provides individualized support that promotes each client's independence, dignity, and well-being, while building meaningful relationships and helping provide families with peace of mind. The role may involve personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and following individualized care plans. Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with short, extended, day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Be caring, dependable, and respectful.
- Be patient and have a positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Be comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in caregiving or home care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients walk safely and assist with transfers and repositioning.
- Prepare nutritious meals and provide dining assistance when needed.
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional encouragement.
- Follow individualized care plans and client preferences.
