About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring a full-time Hospice Caregiver (HHA/CNA) to provide hands-on care to hospice patients in their homes. The role offers guaranteed 40-hour workweeks, Monday through Friday, with consistent client assignments. It is a travel-based position involving work across hospice and homecare cases in Massachusetts, with support from the organization. The caregiver assists with personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, and support for families during end-of-life care. The role also requires responding calmly and responsibly in urgent situations. Guardian Angel Senior Services is a family-owned, mission-driven organization that has supported families and caregivers for over 20 years.
Requirements
- Valid HHA or CNA certification.
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Calm, compassionate, and dependable presence.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, changing linens, and tidying.
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs.
- Provide reminders for pre-set medications.
- Transport clients to appointments or errands.
- Support families during sensitive end-of-life care.
- Respond calmly and responsibly in urgent situations.
