About The Position

Corner Home Medical is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Hospice Billing Confirmation Specialist to join our Hospice Billing team. Reporting to the Billing Manager, this role is responsible for validating and reconciling hospice equipment orders and deliveries to ensure billing accuracy and proper documentation. Using Brightree and other operational systems, the Hospice Billing Confirmation Specialist investigates discrepancies, updates records, verifies serial numbers, and collaborates with multiple departments to ensure ordered equipment matches delivered equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, independent work, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with computers and comfortable working across multiple systems.
• Team player with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare, billing, customer service, order processing, or administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with Brightree or similar software preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Review hospice orders, deliveries, and pickups to ensure equipment ordered matches equipment delivered.
• Reconcile discrepancies in Brightree and other systems, updating records as needed.
• Verify and enter equipment serial numbers and maintain accurate documentation.
• Investigate and resolve order, delivery, and billing-related discrepancies.
• Work closely with Dispatch, Customer Service, Billing, and Distribution teams to ensure order accuracy.
• Coordinate equipment pickups, deliveries, and inventory transfers when necessary.
• Maintain accurate work queues and confirmation lists.
• Support process improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
