About The Position

Compassus is hiring a full-time Hospice Aide for a 32-hour-per-week position. The Hospice Aide provides comfort care that helps patients remain at home with their loved ones, working as part of the hospice team to address each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The role helps patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity, while enhancing their quality of life.

A Certified Nursing Assistant is highly preferred, and current CPR certification is required. Missouri candidates must meet one of the state-specific qualification pathways: be licensed or certified as a Nurses’ Aide; have completed a nurses’ aide training program and have been employed as a nurses’ aide for the past 24 months if not licensed or certified; or have been enrolled in a professional or practical nursing program for at least four months, including a clinical rotation within the past five years, and have successfully passed Fundamentals of Nursing. Candidates using the nursing-program pathway must provide a transcript and a letter on school letterhead from the program director verifying both the clinical rotation and successful course completion.

Requirements
