About The Position

Abcor Home Health is hiring a Homecare Aide to provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, transportation and escorts, and documenting services through the company’s home care application. Caregivers report changes in clients’ conditions to the branch supervisor and complete required training and conferences. The position offers pay of $19.00–$19.75, mileage and travel-time reimbursement, flexible schedules, paid leave, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, caregiver referral bonuses, and monthly incentives.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or at least one year of caregiving employment experience.
Willingness to pass a criminal background check.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Access to a reliable car.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and meal preparation.
Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
Transport and escort clients to medical appointments and social outings as needed.
Provide personalized services based on each client’s individualized care plan.
Promptly report changes in a client’s condition to the branch supervisor to help ensure client safety and well-being.
Complete visits and document daily service tasks through the company’s proprietary home care application.
Provide receipts and documentation for essential shopping and errands.
Complete 12 hours of annual in-service training and quarterly conferences with the branch supervisor.
