About The Position

Abcor Home Health is hiring a Homecare Aide to provide personalized in-home care and support to clients. The role includes assistance with daily living activities, light housekeeping, transportation, errands, and documenting services. Aides complete pre-service and annual in-service training and participate in quarterly conferences with the branch supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 1 year of caregiving employment experience.
• Willingness to pass a criminal background check.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Access to a reliable car.
• Completion of 24 hours of pre-service training.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Transport and escort clients to medical appointments and social outings as needed.
• Provide personalized services according to each client’s individualized care plan.
• Promote client safety and well-being and promptly report changes in condition to the branch supervisor.
• Complete visits and document daily service tasks using the company’s proprietary home care application.
• Provide receipts and documentation for essential shopping and errands.
• Complete 12 hours of annual in-service training and attend quarterly conferences with the branch supervisor.
