About The Position

Abcor Home Health is hiring a Homecare Aide to provide caregiving support in clients’ homes. The role includes assistance with daily activities, light housekeeping, errands and appointments, following care plans, reporting changes, and documenting visits in a home care app. Aides must complete required training and quarterly check-ins. Preservice training is provided online. Driver’s license and auto insurance are not required for Family Homecare Aides.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or one year of caregiving experience.
• Clearance through a background check.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance, except for Family Homecare Aides.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Perform light housekeeping to keep the home safe.
• Support clients with errands and appointments.
• Follow the care plan and report changes.
• Document visits in the home care app.
• Complete required training and quarterly check-ins.
