Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales (B2B preferred, but good instincts count too)
  • Strong communication skills—clear, warm, and direct
  • Confidence without ego; curiosity without chaos
  • Comfort juggling multiple deals, timelines, and personalities
  • Basic tech fluency (CRM systems, email, spreadsheets)
  • A bias toward follow-through—you do what you say you’ll do

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in electrical sales
  • Experience in a technical, construction, or residential service-based industry
  • Can read a room and adjust your approach accordingly
  • Enjoy collaborating more than competing internally
  • Ask thoughtful questions instead of rushing to pitch

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads—from first conversation to signed agreement
  • Know our offerings of residential home automation, audio, video, lighting, shades deeply enough to translate them into clear, compelling solutions.
  • Conduct sales calls, site visits, and follow-ups with consistency and care
  • Create accurate quotes and proposals
  • Coordinate closely with operations, project teams, and leadership to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Track activity, opportunities, and forecasts in our CRM so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships
