About The Position

The Home Shopping Department Manager leads daily digital order fulfillment operations, ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time. The role oversees the full fulfillment process, supports a positive pickup and delivery experience, resolves customer concerns, and contributes to digital sales growth and overall store success. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that includes managing department performance, schedules, and team development while maintaining food safety, sanitation, quality, and operational standards.

The manager works with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks, uses fulfillment technology and performance data to guide operations, and takes corrective action as needed. Flexible availability is required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varying temperature environments. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Home Shopping Department operations to ensure timely, accurate, customer-focused order fulfillment.
• Deliver a strong pickup and delivery experience, professionally resolving customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds.
• Coordinate fulfillment processes, including picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery coordination where applicable.
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology, handheld devices, and fulfillment systems.
• Monitor order accuracy, pick rates, on-time completion, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Create and manage schedules aligned with order volume, peak demand, and productivity expectations.
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks affecting orders.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop associates while fostering a positive, accountable team culture.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, and company operational standards.
• Review performance data and take corrective action as needed.
