About The Position

Join Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, part of Evernorth Health Services, as a Home Infusion Registered Nurse delivering care to patients in their homes. The role administers specialty medications, including IV infusions, and builds relationships with patients while supporting positive health outcomes. The nurse works with pharmacists and care teams, coordinates patient care, maintains accurate records, and exercises autonomy in clinical decision-making. The position is based in Long Beach, California, requires travel within a large geographic region, and offers an anticipated hourly rate of $42–$70 depending on relevant factors such as experience and geographic location. The role is anticipated to be eligible for an annual bonus plan. A 40-hour workweek is expected, with evenings and weekends as needed. Occasional or permanent work from home requires cable broadband or fiber-optic internet with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Requirements

• Hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Have at least 2 years of RN experience.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in critical care, acute care, or home healthcare.
• Be proficient in IV insertion and infusion techniques.
• Have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a large geographic region.
• Be available for a 40-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience with specialty pharmacy or infusion therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively administer specialty medications, including IV infusions, in patients’ homes.
• Partner with pharmacists and care teams to support patients’ overall well-being.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress to maintain accurate patient records.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patient updates and care coordination.
• Use autonomous clinical decision-making to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Travel within a large geographic region to provide patient care.
