Home Infusion Nurse - Accredo - Los Angeles
About The Position
Join Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, part of Evernorth Health Services, and provide nursing care to patients in their homes. The Home Infusion Registered Nurse administers specialty medications, including IV infusions, and works with pharmacists and care teams to support patient well-being. The role involves documenting care, coordinating with patients, and making independent clinical decisions to achieve positive outcomes. The position requires a 40-hour workweek, with evenings and weekends as needed, and travel within a large geographic region. The anticipated hourly rate is $42–$70, depending on relevant factors such as experience and geographic location. The role is also anticipated to be eligible for an annual bonus plan. For occasional or permanent work from home, internet service must be cable broadband or fiber optic with speeds of at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- At least 2 years of RN experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in critical care, acute care, or home healthcare.
- Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a large geographic region.
- Availability for a 40-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience with specialty pharmacy or infusion therapy programs.
Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively administer specialty medications, including IV infusions, in patients’ homes.
- Partner with pharmacists and care teams to support holistic patient well-being.
- Document assessments, treatments, and progress in accurate patient records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient updates and care coordination.
- Use autonomous clinical decision-making to achieve optimal outcomes.
