About The Position

Join Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, part of Evernorth Health Services, and bring your nursing expertise to patients in their homes. As a Specialty Home Infusion Field Nurse, you will deliver patient care, build relationships, and support positive health outcomes. The role involves a 32-hour workweek and travel to patients across a large geographic region. Evenings and weekends may be needed.

When working from home occasionally or permanently, an internet connection through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider with speeds of at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• At least 1 year of experience in hospital acute care or home healthcare.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a large geographic region.
• Availability for a 32-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of RN experience in a hospital or home health setting is strongly preferred.
• Critical care experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience with specialty pharmacy or infusion therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively administer specialty medications, including IV infusions, in patients’ homes.
• Partner with pharmacists and care teams to support patients’ overall well-being.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress in patient records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient updates and care coordination.
• Use autonomous clinical decision-making to achieve optimal outcomes.
