Home Infusion Intake Coordinator Supervisor
About The Position
The Intake Supervisor oversees the Front End Intake team for the Chandler, Arizona Home Infusion branch. The supervisor leads at least six Intake Coordinators, processes Acute/Biologic referrals, completes chart audits, monitors the held bill report, and participates in on-call duties while providing ongoing supervision and support for Front End Intake. The role is critical to supporting branch operations and incoming referrals. This is a remote position; candidates are preferred to live in Arizona. Remote employees must adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. The role offers opportunities for development and provides direction and recognition based on performance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of customer service experience.
- At least 3 years of Benefits Verification experience.
- At least 2 years of team lead or training experience.
- At least 2 years of experience leading and managing teams in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Remote employees must adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
- Candidates must pass a drug test before beginning employment.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of experience managing infusion referrals.
- Experience supervising remote employees.
- Managed care experience in a care coordination role.
- Residence in Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate a work team while maintaining high standards.
- Respond to questions regarding Benefit Verifications and Authorizations.
- Respond to provider inquiries received through the escalation and case resolution department.
- Supervise at least six Intake Coordinators and provide ongoing supervision and support for Front End Intake.
- Process Acute/Biologic referrals.
- Complete chart audits.
- Monitor the held bill report.
- Participate in on-call duties.
- Lead by example with a positive, professional, courteous, and cheerful attitude.
