About The Position

Elara Caring is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide home health care in the Belleville, Illinois territory. The nurse assesses patients’ care needs, completes initial and ongoing assessments, and provides nursing care in accordance with plans of care and physician orders. The role includes monitoring patients and reporting changes to the care team, educating patients and families, protecting privacy under HIPAA, and helping ensure safe, high-quality, continuous care. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The stated base salary is $75,000 to $80,000 annually; actual pay depends on factors including education, experience, skills, and internal equity.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited certificate, diploma, associate, or baccalaureate school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Nice To Haves

• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their care needs and complete initial and ongoing patient assessments.
