About The Position

Elara Caring is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide home health care. The nurse assesses patient needs, completes initial and ongoing assessments, provides care according to care plans and physician orders, monitors patients and communicates changes to the care team, and educates patients and families. The role also helps maintain safe, high-quality, continuous care and protects patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited certificate, diploma, associate, or baccalaureate school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Nice To Haves

• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their care needs.
