Suru Network is seeking Physical Therapist Assistants to provide mobile outpatient physical therapy in patients’ homes. Clinicians can continue treating appropriate patients after home-health discharge and may also receive notifications about other patients available in their service area. Clinicians choose whether to accept or decline each opportunity, and patients remain free to choose their provider. Suru manages patient intake, insurance eligibility checks, telehealth evaluations with a licensed PT or OT, and billing. Clinicians provide follow-up care when patients are ready, with care often handed back to the clinician within about three days. Scheduling and care delivery are flexible, and visit notes can usually be submitted by voice recording in about one minute. Clinicians are paid per completed eligible visit. Suru aims to match the clinician’s current home-health or per-visit rate and pays by weekly direct deposit. Referrals are optional and unpaid and do not guarantee or prioritize an assignment. Clinicians work as 1099 independent contractors. An LLC is not required, but an active California professional license and a local business license are required before treating patients. Onboarding is completed through the Suru mobile app or web app.
