About The Position

Suru Network is seeking Physical Therapist Assistants to provide mobile outpatient physical therapy in patients’ homes. The role offers opportunities to continue treating appropriate patients after home-health discharge, with potentially longer treatment episodes and more frequent visits than traditional home health commonly allows. Clinicians may refer patients through the Suru mobile app or web app; Suru handles patient interest confirmation, insurance eligibility, intake, and the telehealth evaluation with a licensed PT or OT before follow-up treatment begins. Suru may also notify clinicians about other patients available in their service area. Clinicians choose whether to accept or decline each case and determine their service area, availability, and desired rate through onboarding. Clinicians are paid per completed eligible visit, with Suru aiming to match their current home-health or per-visit rate. Payment is made by weekly direct deposit. Scheduling and care delivery are flexible, and visit notes can usually be submitted by voice recording in about one minute. Suru clinicians work as 1099 independent contractors. An active California professional license and a local business license are required before treating patients; an LLC is not required.
