Suru Network is seeking Physical Therapist Assistants to provide mobile outpatient physical therapy in patients’ homes. The network offers clinicians opportunities to build a more consistent mobile caseload, provide patients with longer treatment episodes and higher-frequency visits than traditional home health commonly allows, and earn supplemental income. Clinicians choose whether to accept or decline available cases and can set their service area, availability, and desired rate through the Suru mobile app or web app. Clinicians may refer appropriate patients through the app. Suru confirms patient interest, checks insurance eligibility, and arranges a telehealth evaluation with a licensed PT or OT. When the patient is clinically ready for follow-up treatment, the clinician may continue care in the home, usually within three days. Suru handles intake, eligibility, evaluations, and billing. Visit notes can usually be submitted by voice recording in about one minute. Clinicians are paid per completed eligible visit, with Suru aiming to match their current home-health or per-visit rate. Payments are made by direct deposit weekly. Clinicians work as 1099 independent contractors. An LLC is not required, but an active California professional license and a local business license are required before treating patients. Referrals are optional and unpaid; they do not guarantee or prioritize an assignment, and patients remain free to choose their provider.
