About The Position
Centria Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-to-one private duty nursing in patients’ homes. Nurses deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting. The patient population includes children from birth through age 21 and adults with complex medical needs. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including day, night, and weekend shifts. Pay is weekly, with optional daily pay, and is competitive based on experience.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Home care or private duty experience preferred, but not required.
- Tracheostomy or ventilator experience is a plus; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, medication administration, and catheter care.
- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Communicate with families and care teams.
- Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
