About The Position
Centria Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide dedicated 1:1 private duty nursing for a 6-month-old infant in a home setting in Lake, Michigan. The role involves skilled, personalized care in a warm, welcoming, low-stress environment. Additional pediatric and adult opportunities are available nearby in Mt. Pleasant, Clare, St. Louis, and Breckenridge. The position offers day and night shifts and full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities. Pay is weekly, with optional daily pay, and compensation is based on experience. Centria Healthcare is a Michigan-based home healthcare provider specializing in private duty nursing, complex pediatric care, and catastrophic injury services.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Home care or private duty experience is preferred but not required.
- Trach/vent experience is a plus; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled 1:1 nursing care, including tracheostomy, ventilator, and g-tube/feeding tube care.
- Monitor and document the patient's condition, vital signs, and nutritional needs.
- Administer medications and perform prescribed daily treatments.
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and routine developmental care.
- Collaborate with family members and clinical support teams to maintain safe, high-quality care.
