Home Health Care Specialist - Marketer
About The Position
Lorian Health is hiring a Home Health Care Specialist - Marketer for its Riverside South territory. The role focuses on developing referral relationships, identifying business opportunities, and supporting patient referrals in the home health care sector. The specialist works with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and internal clinical and operational leaders to support regional growth and quality commitments. The position also involves resolving questions and concerns, obtaining physician documentation, and participating in sales, marketing, and interdisciplinary meetings and community-facing activities.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of home health experience.
- Strong knowledge of the local medical community.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to confidently communicate and present to small and large groups.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
Nice To Haves
- Sales or business development experience in home health or a related healthcare industry is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain referral relationships throughout the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with healthcare referral sources.
- Engage with physicians, case managers, and discharge planners to support patient referrals.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to support regional growth and quality commitments.
- Assist referral sources and patients with questions, concerns, and issue resolution.
- Secure required physician documentation and support referral processing.
- Participate in sales, marketing, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Plan and participate in marketing initiatives, networking events, educational lunches, conferences, and community activities to strengthen relationships with case management and healthcare partners and increase Lorian's community visibility.
