About The Position

Lorian Health is hiring a Home Health Care Specialist - Marketer to develop referral relationships and pursue business growth across Long Beach and Orange County. The role works with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, referral sources, patients, and Lorian’s clinical and operational leaders to support referrals, regional growth, and quality commitments. The specialist also takes part in marketing and networking activities that build healthcare partnerships and increase Lorian’s community visibility.

Requirements

At least 1 year of home health experience.
Strong knowledge of the local medical community.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to confidently communicate and present to small and large groups.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

Nice To Haves

Sales or business development experience in home health or a related healthcare industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain referral relationships throughout the assigned territory.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with healthcare referral sources.
Engage with physicians, case managers, and discharge planners to support patient referrals.
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to support regional growth and quality commitments.
Assist referral sources and patients with questions, concerns, and issue resolution.
Secure required physician documentation and support referral processing.
Participate in sales, marketing, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Plan and participate in marketing initiatives, networking events, educational lunches, conferences, and community activities to strengthen healthcare relationships and increase Lorian’s visibility.
