About The Position
Senior Helpers is hiring home health aides and in-home caregivers to support seniors and help them age with dignity. Caregivers provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with activities of daily living, while communicating with seniors, their families, and company staff. A minimum of six months of caregiver experience is required. The position requires Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Requirements
- At least six months of caregiver experience.
- Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of clients.
- Proficient communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Pass Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and staff.
- Assist with personal care.
- Provide companionship.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as assigned.
