About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care for a client in Union, New Jersey. The role offers per diem work with flexible scheduling and weekly pay every Friday. The aide will help the client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour. Sign-on bonus opportunities, a referral bonus program, fast onboarding, and a supportive team environment are also offered. Newly certified HHAs are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required.
- Current physical examination.
- PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray, as required.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.

Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Assist with activities of daily living and medication reminders.
- Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
