About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care for a client in Somerset, New Jersey. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay every Friday, and the chance to help a client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Newly certified HHAs are encouraged to apply. The role includes personal care, companionship, assistance with activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and maintaining a safe home environment. The aide may need to drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required.
- Current physical examination.
- PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray, as required.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.

Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
