About The Position
HouseWorks is hiring Home Health Aides to provide compassionate, personalized in-home care that helps seniors live safely and comfortably with dignity, independence, and joy. Caregivers support clients with personal care and daily activities, promote emotional well-being through companionship, and document client activities and condition. The posting lists full-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunities in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- HHA certificate or CNA license.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
Nice To Haves
- Open availability is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care.
- Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being.
- Provide medication reminders as needed.
- Document daily activities, client well-being, and changes in condition.
