About The Position
Right at Home is hiring compassionate and dependable CNAs and PCAs to provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes. The role supports clients in remaining safe and independent at home and offers flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability. The local office provides scheduling and care support, and may arrange introductions or orientation for challenging or unfamiliar assignments when appropriate. Caregivers provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, household tasks, transportation, and other support in accordance with each client’s care plan. Some specialized care tasks are performed only when the caregiver is trained and the task is appropriate. Compensation is $14.00–$15.00 per hour. Same Day Pay is available. Eligible employees may have access to supplemental insurance benefits; availability, eligibility, costs, waiting periods, coverage, and plan terms vary.
Requirements
- Be compassionate, dependable, respectful, patient, and professional.
- Have CNA or PCA qualifications or credentials as required.
- Have experience with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and clear communication.
- Be able to follow a care plan and report changes or concerns.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and transfers.
- Experience with Foley care, hospice care, or bed-bound care.
- Experience providing companionship, meal preparation, or light housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Help with ambulation, positioning, transfers, and use of gait belts or Hoyer lifts when appropriate.
- Prepare meals, provide companionship and social engagement, and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide transportation or accompaniment to errands and medical appointments.
- Give medication reminders and prescribed range-of-motion assistance.
- Assist with blood glucose monitoring, Foley care, bed-bound care, and hospice supportive care when trained and appropriate.
- Follow the care plan and report changes, concerns, or safety issues.
- Respect clients’ dignity, privacy, preferences, and homes.
