About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio, to help older adults live at home. Duties include assisting with bathing and dressing, preparing meals, light cleaning, running errands, and providing companionship. This is physical work that involves being on your feet most of the day and helping clients move around. The role does not include medical tasks, which are handled by nurses. Pay is $18 per hour for workers with an active or expired STNA license; $16–$18 per hour, based on interview, for workers with a qualifying HHA certificate or experience; and $16 per hour through the free training pathway. Workers with a care background may receive $16–$18 per hour based on interview even if their experience or certificate cannot be verified or does not qualify. Pay is issued every two weeks by direct deposit. The position is W-2, offers 10% extra pay on holidays, and includes performance raises and bonuses. Applicants must have a driver's license, their own car with insurance that covers work driving, pass background checks, have legal authorization to work in the United States, and be at least 18 years old. Employees must work at least 20 hours per week and be available from 6 AM to 8 PM; most work is scheduled from 8 AM to 5 PM. Haven Home Care provides free training for applicants without qualifying credentials or experience.

Requirements
