About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio, to help older adults live at home. The work includes assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, mobility, and companionship. This is physical work that involves being on your feet most of the day and helping clients move around. The role does not involve medical tasks, which are handled by nurses. Pay is $18 per hour for candidates with an active or expired STNA license; $16–$18 per hour for candidates with an HHA certificate or relevant experience, based on interview; and $16 per hour through the free training pathway. Employees are paid every two weeks by direct deposit as W-2 employees. Holiday work pays an additional 10%, and performance raises and bonuses are available. Applicants must have a driver’s license and their own car with insurance that covers work driving, pass background checks, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and be at least 18 years old. Employees must work at least 20 hours per week and be available from 6 AM to 8 PM; most work is scheduled from 8 AM to 5 PM. Haven Home Care offers a free training pathway for applicants without experience and for those whose experience or certificate cannot be verified or does not qualify.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a driver’s license.
Have a personal vehicle with insurance that covers work driving.
Pass background checks.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Work at least 20 hours per week.
Be available between 6 AM and 8 PM.
Qualify through one of the listed pathways: an active or expired STNA license; an HHA certificate with 30 or more hours; at least one year of experience under an RN or LPN; or completion of Haven Home Care’s free training pathway.
