Home Health Aide - Now Hiring - Summit County
About The Position
Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides to help older adults live at home in Summit County, Ohio. The work includes assisting clients with bathing, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. The role involves physical work, being on your feet most of the day, and helping clients move around. It does not include medical tasks, which are performed by nurses. Pay is $18 per hour for applicants with an active or expired STNA license; $16–$18 per hour for applicants with an HHA certificate or qualifying experience, based on the interview; and $16 per hour through the free training pathway. Applicants whose experience or certificate cannot be verified may still qualify through free training, with pay based on the interview at $16–$18 per hour because of their care background. Employees are paid every two weeks by direct deposit as W-2 employees. The posting also mentions an additional 10% on holidays, performance raises, and bonuses. Applicants must have a driver's license and their own car with insurance that covers work driving, pass background checks, be able to work at least 20 hours per week, be available between 6 AM and 8 PM (most work is 8 AM–5 PM), have legal authorization to work in the United States, and be at least 18 years old. Requirements
