Home Health Aide - Now Hiring - Summit County
About The Position
Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides to help older adults live at home in Summit County, Ohio. The work includes assisting clients with bathing, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, mobility, and companionship. This is physical work, and aides spend most of the day on their feet while helping clients move around. The role does not involve medical tasks, which are handled by nurses. Hourly pay is $18 for candidates with an active or expired STNA license; $16–$18 for candidates with an HHA certificate or qualifying experience, based on interview; and $16 for candidates completing the free training pathway. Applicants whose experience or certificate cannot be verified may still qualify through free training, with pay based on their interview and existing care background. Employees are paid every two weeks by direct deposit as W-2 employees. Holiday work pays 10% extra, and performance raises and bonuses are available. Applicants need a driver's license and their own car with insurance that covers work driving, must pass background checks, be legally authorized to work in the United States, be at least 18 years old, and work at least 20 hours per week. Applicants must be available between 6 AM and 8 PM; most work is scheduled from 8 AM to 5 PM. After applying, candidates receive an email guide explaining pay, qualification pathways, and next steps. Suitable candidates are contacted for a phone interview; calls are made between 8 AM and 3:30 PM.
Requirements

- Qualify through one of the listed pathways: an active or expired STNA license; an HHA certificate of 30 or more hours; at least one year of experience under an RN or LPN; or completion of the employer's free training pathway.
