About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring part-time caregiver to support individuals with daily living activities. The role focuses on helping clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence through personal care, companionship, household assistance, mobility support, and reminders. The position is in Columbus, Indiana, with part-time hours available Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Requirements
- Caring, patient, and reliable attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable transportation and punctuality.
- Ability to follow care instructions and respect client privacy.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but not required.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Assist with mobility and safe movement as needed.
- Provide reminders for daily routines and medications, as permitted.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
- Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and team members.
