About The Position

Maximum Care, Inc. is hiring a Spanish-speaking Home Health Aide/Direct Care Worker to support seniors and other participants in the Lehigh Valley. The company has more than 40 years of experience supporting elderly people, people with disabilities, and participants with intellectual disabilities. The role involves providing physical and emotional care, home assistance, personal services, and companionship while treating participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. The position is advertised for 48-hour overnight work, with flexible scheduling and part-time or full-time options. Applications and training are completed through a mobile app, and face-to-face interactions are conducted via Zoom.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to complete a criminal background report.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for sometimes long periods.
• Spanish-speaking.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional care to participants due to illness, injury, disability, or other needs.
• Treat participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.
• Provide light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation if needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with or remind them about medications.
• Prepare meals and purchase food.
• Provide personal assistance with general living needs, including toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting participants.
