About The Position

Saint Therese is hiring two Home Health Aides for an overnight role supporting residents in its Assisted Living and Memory Care communities at the Corcoran campus. The role provides hands-on care, compassionate support, and companionship to promote residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life. Home Health Aides work alongside nurses and other care team members to support resident care plans.

The position is part-time, scheduled from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. for 32 hours per two-week pay period, including every other weekend and every other holiday. Pay is $19.10–$25.91 per hour, based on experience, with same-day pay available.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience in a senior care facility setting.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment within the scope of practice.
• Reliability and dependability, including consistent attendance and accountability.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to document care accurately and on time in required systems.
• Ability to collaborate with nurses and care team members.
• Ability to follow care plans, supervisor direction, and established policies and procedures.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transfer residents in accordance with training and safety guidelines.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• HHA or CNA certification in the State of Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Administer medications according to training and policy.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in the electronic charting system.
• Observe and report physical or behavioral changes to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and support residents with daily engagement activities.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members to support resident care plans.
