About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable bilingual Home Health Aide to provide personalized one-on-one home care for a couple in Leonia, New Jersey. The role serves clients in Leonia and surrounding areas within approximately 15 miles. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, for 10 hours per day and 50 hours per week. The position is expected to start as soon as possible. The aide must communicate fluently in English and Spanish and provide care that maintains clients’ comfort, safety, and dignity.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey HHA certification.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional manner.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous home care or caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping as needed.
• Support clients with mobility and daily routines.
• Communicate effectively with clients and family members in English and Spanish.
• Follow the individualized care plan and maintain clients’ comfort, safety, and dignity.
• Report changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate care team.
